Understanding the Test
The Words Association Test is a psychological assessment tool used at ISSB to evaluate your thought patterns, emotional responses, and personality traits. You'll be shown a series of words and asked to write the first thought that comes to mind for each.

Test Format
- • 100 words will be shown one by one
 - • 15 seconds given for each word response
 - • Write the first thought that comes to mind
 - • Responses must be in complete sentences
 
Preparation Tips
Practice Responses
Practice with sample words to develop quick, meaningful responses. Example: For "Army" - "The army represents discipline and service to the nation."
Be Genuine
Don't try to fabricate responses you think assessors want to hear. Authenticity is key in psychological assessments.
Stay Positive
Maintain a constructive tone in responses. Even for negative words, try to find positive associations.
